From Salt to Stitch
Hudson Speizman, Rowan Rucker, and Jackson Edwards were raised in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina — immersed in everything the Lowcountry has to offer. From an early age, life revolved around the outdoors: early mornings in the marsh, long days on the boat, and the quiet freedom that comes with water and open land.
Hudson and Rowan grew up in Back Bay Village, where their shared love for adventure turned into early entrepreneurship. What started as a small project called The Back Bay Boys was short-lived, but it planted the seed — a mindset rooted in creativity, independence, and building something of their own.
When the three eventually found themselves at Clemson University, distance made one thing clear: they missed home. Not just the scenery, but the culture — the tradition, the pace, the identity of the Lowcountry.
Back Bay Co. was born from that realization. Built to represent life from the marsh to downtown, from boat to dinner, it exists to carry a piece of the Lowcountry wherever you go.
